CHAPTER MEETINGS FOR 2019 - 2020
Meetings are held The 3rd Wednesday of the month, except during the summer when we are typically helping with stream restoration, helping people learn to fish and, of course, fishing ourselves.  
For our monthly meetings, we'll have food and chit chat at 6 p.m. (optional). Business items from 7-7:15 and then the presentation begins at 7:15.  See the table below for the location and topic of the meetings.
Our speaker and meeting schedule will be up soon, in the meantime why don't you come out and join us at one of these summer events.

National Weather Service - Precipitation and Fflooding Trends

December Chapter Meeting

Local Beer, Local Flies, Local TU

Join us again this December at Pearl St Brewery, 1401 St Andrew St, La Crosse, WI 54603, for camaraderie and fly tying.  Bring your favorite fly and share tying ideas and patterns. 

 

Fred will buy a growler for the first person that ties a novelty fly that would look great on his Christmas tree! (See https://www.fishingpnw.com/10-christmas-flies/ for ideas).

January 2020 Chapter Meeting

Wed., Jan. 15 at The Legion (Tap House 138) in Viroqua. Optional dinner and drinks at 6 p.m. and then the program begins at 7 p.m.  

 

We will have presentations from Severin Tubbin who attended the Trout Unlimited Teen Summit last summer with the chapter’s assistance. Also speaking will be Kristina Pechacek who is a graduate student at UWL. She will present her study of Brook Trout on Cook and Mapledale  Creeks. The chapter has also provided her with a grant for her study.
